We want #Sia and #LoïcNottet to work together #SiaLoic
Loïc Nottet is a young Belgian singer, composer and dancer.
Discovered by “The Voice Belgique” in 2014, Loïc stand out for his distinguished voice and vivid stage performances.
After he finished as runner-up, Loïc recorded a cover and created a video clip of “Chandelier”, which became viral, retweeted even by Sia herself.
Loïc Nottet was chosen to represent Belgium at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. He composed his first ever single, “Rhythm Inside” and BJ Scott, his coach in “The Voice Belgique”, wrote the lyrics.
In May 2015, Loïc Nottet performed his up-tempo song at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria. He qualified to the final where he placed 4th with 217 points, setting a new record score for a Belgian entry in the contest.
“Rhythm Inside” became the second biggest iTunes hit after the winning song "Heroes" from Sweden. It entered the iTunes charts in no less than 35 countries, from Europe to Australia.
A music video to accompany the release of "Rhythm Inside", produced and directed by Josh Brandão, was first released on YouTube on March 10th, 2015.
Two months later, Loïc Nottet released what was described as one of the craziest music videos for a Eurovision song.
Entitled “Alice in Nightmareland”is a ten minutes long performance act that starts with some creepy evil nurses and a surgeon trying to capture Alice (played by Justine Vercleven) before she flees into the woods and encounters The Black Boy (played by Loïc himself) finding at the end the “Rhythm Inside”.
“Before being a singer, I was and am a dancer,” tells Loïc Nottet at the beginning of the video. Indeed, Loïc stuns with his incredible dance performance on his own choreography. He was heavily involved with the whole “Alice in Nightmareland” project as he directed, wrote the script, designed the costumes, and the list goes on…
It’s well known that Loïc is a huge fan of Sia and he loves to perform covers of her songs. His version of ‘Chandelier’ became viral on You Tube and even Sia herself tweeted how “incredible cover and video and choreography” is.
With this petition we express our wish that the artistic genius Sia and the incredibly talented Loïc Nottet will “swing together from the chandelier”, join forces and create great art.
If you want to see this dream come true, please sign and share this petition.
So let’s reach out to Sia on Twitter and Facebook and… fingers crossed!
